In case any of you also missed it, the gold demo for Football Manager 2007 was released last weekend. It comes in two flavours (one cut-down version without photos/commentary/sounds etc and one with lots more content), for both Windows and Mac. The demo only allows you to play for 6 months but is save-game compatible with the full release.

Yup, I've had it pre-ordered from play.com which says it'll be available on the 20th. Not too long to wait

Also, it gives you plenty of time to think about the next FM challenge - assuming you'll be allowed to play for a while this time

Selling the demo? Well I guess that's very public-spirited of someone who must surely only be thinking about those poor souls without broadband

It is cheaper at edirectory granted but the del time is between 6-10 working days so would end up getting it nearly 2 weeks later. Alos they have the release date of the 27th whilst play have it as 20th? Does that mean play.com get it before edirictory or are they just ETA's?

Official release date is indeed the 20th (see official homepage) so that's another downside with going for the cheapest option it seems.

slightly off topic, You missed a good night last night on pro evo. Me rich, jamo, trav and colin had a 5 player tourney. Brazil won the title with jamo just finishing bottom on goal difference to trav.

Sounds like fun but cinema was already organised for tuesday. It's a shame people can't make mondays or thursdays
