|In what is a very welcome move, the makers of Firefox, Internet Explorer, Opera, and Konqueror have come to an agreement on some enhancements to security to try and cut down on spoof and scamming web sites.
New features which will be implemented by all these browsers include enhanced security certificates for banks and other often-spoofed sites, when visiting these the address bar will turn green to give a good visual indication that the site is trustworthy. They will also cut down on popups that look like OS system messages.
